Learny has joined the program
In July 2026, Learny joined the Google for Startups Cloud Program. The program is designed to help eligible startups build and scale using Google Cloud resources, technology, and startup-focused support.
We are sharing the month rather than inventing a specific announcement day. We are also not publishing a credit amount or program tier because those details are not needed to explain what the milestone means for the product.
What participation means for our product work
Learny is being designed as an AI learning companion with voice interaction, guided topics, practice activities, and a parent-facing experience. Supporting those product directions responsibly requires dependable infrastructure and careful decisions about performance, monitoring, and scale.
Program participation can help our team strengthen that foundation. Our priorities include improving reliability for early-access users, preparing systems to grow without unnecessary complexity, and developing AI features with appropriate technical controls.
A resource, not a shortcut
Cloud technology does not by itself make a learning product useful, safe, or effective. Those qualities depend on product design, testing, evidence, privacy practices, and feedback from the people who use it.
Joining the program does not mean that Google endorses Learny or has verified learning outcomes. It gives our team access to a stronger environment in which to do the engineering work, while responsibility for the product remains with Learny.
What comes next
We will use this stage to keep improving the early-access experience and the technical systems behind it. That includes making the website and product feel fast, stable, understandable, and ready for careful iteration.
For families following our progress, the most important result will not be the program name. It will be whether Learny becomes a more dependable and thoughtful learning companion over time.
