Subscription Terms / Billing Policy

These Subscription Terms / Billing Policy ("Subscription Terms") explain how subscriptions, free trials, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds work in Learny.

These Subscription Terms apply to the Learny mobile application, website, and related services operated by Learny Technologies LLC ("Learny", "we", "us", or "our").

By starting a free trial, purchasing a subscription, or using paid Learny features, you agree to these Subscription Terms, our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer.

Learny may offer several access levels. The exact plans, features, prices, trial availability, billing periods, and subscription options may vary depending on your country, platform, app version, promotion, and app store availability. All available plan details are shown inside the app before purchase.

• Super Premium

Learny may offer a free plan with limited access. Learny may change free plan limits at any time. Free access is provided at Learny's discretion and may be changed, reduced, paused, or discontinued.

Premium is generally designed for users who want unlimited learning usage with one selected or current avatar. Premium does not necessarily include all avatars, all avatar topics, all future features, Super Premium benefits, Star Shop items, separate digital items, or features clearly marked as separate purchases. The exact Premium benefits will be displayed in the app before purchase.

Super Premium is generally designed for users who want the full Learny experience. Super Premium does not automatically include separate paid Star Shop items, future paid add-ons, third-party services, or features clearly marked as separate purchases unless specifically stated in the app. The exact Super Premium benefits will be displayed in the app before purchase.

• full Learny experience depending on the current product version
• 3-day free trial where available

Learny may offer a 3-day free trial for Super Premium. The exact free trial terms are shown before you confirm the purchase. Learny may change, remove, or limit free trial availability at any time.

• the trial lasts 3 days unless the app store purchase screen states otherwise
• the trial may be available only to eligible users
• the trial may be limited to one use per user, Apple ID, Google account, device, or app store account
• the trial may automatically convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends
• you must cancel the trial through Apple App Store or Google Play if you do not want to be charged
• trial availability may vary by country, platform, promotion, app version, or account eligibility

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period or trial period. By purchasing a subscription or starting a trial, you authorize the applicable app store provider to charge your payment method according to the subscription terms shown at checkout. Renewal may occur monthly, yearly, or according to another billing period shown before purchase. The renewal price, billing period, and applicable taxes are shown by Apple App Store or Google Play before confirmation.

Learny subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play. Learny does not directly process subscription payments and does not store your full payment card details. Your payment relationship is with the applicable app store provider. Billing, renewal, cancellation, refund requests, payment failures, chargebacks, taxes, and subscription management are handled through Apple App Store or Google Play according to their own terms and policies.

Subscription prices are shown in the app or app store purchase screen before you confirm the purchase. Prices may vary based on country, region, currency, platform, taxes, app store rules, promotions, subscription period, plan type, exchange rates, and local pricing adjustments. We do not list exact prices in this policy because prices may vary and are always shown before purchase.

You are responsible for cancelling your subscription through the platform where you purchased it. If you purchased or started a trial through Apple App Store, cancellation must be managed through Apple. If you purchased or started a trial through Google Play, cancellation must be managed through Google Play. Deleting the Learny app does not automatically cancel your subscription. Deleting your Learny account does not automatically cancel your subscription with Apple App Store or Google Play. You must cancel the subscription separately through the applicable app store.

If you cancel a subscription, you may continue to access paid features until the end of the current paid billing period, unless Apple or Google applies a different rule. After the subscription period ends, your account may return to Free access or another available access level. Your previously saved account data may remain available unless you delete your account or unless data is removed according to our Privacy Policy. Features that depended on the cancelled subscription may then become unavailable, including:

• unlimited messages
• unlimited game sessions
• Premium features
• Super Premium features
• avatars or topics included only in the subscription
• other subscription-based functionality

Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their own policies. Learny cannot guarantee refunds for purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, you should request a refund directly through the applicable app store provider. Learny may assist with support questions, but final refund decisions are generally made by Apple or Google.

Learny may allow users to upgrade or downgrade between plans, including from Premium to Super Premium. The timing, price difference, access changes, and billing adjustment for upgrades or downgrades may depend on Apple App Store or Google Play rules. If you upgrade from Premium to Super Premium, your access may change to include broader Super Premium benefits, such as all avatars and all avatar topics. If you downgrade from Super Premium to Premium, you may lose access to Super Premium-only benefits after the current subscription period or according to app store rules.

Premium and Super Premium serve different purposes. Premium is generally intended for users who want unlimited usage with one avatar. Super Premium is generally intended for users who want the full Learny experience with all avatars and all avatar topics. The current benefits, billing period, and price for each available plan are shown before purchase.

Learny may offer individual avatar unlocks separately from subscriptions. An individual avatar unlock may provide access to one specific avatar and that avatar's related topics or experiences. Unless the purchase screen expressly says otherwise, an individual avatar unlock does not include:

• all avatars
• all avatar topics
• unlimited messages
• unlimited game sessions
• Super Premium features
• future avatars
• Star Shop items
• separate paid add-ons

Subscriptions are separate from Stars and the Star Shop. Premium or Super Premium does not automatically give ownership of Star Shop items unless explicitly stated. If Learny later introduces Star-based unlocks, paid shop items, or premium-exclusive shop items, the relevant terms may be updated.

• Stars can be earned through learning activity
• Stars cannot be purchased for money
• Star Shop items cannot be purchased with Stars
• Star Shop items cannot be purchased with real money
• Star Shop may function as a preview or motivational feature

Learny is an evolving product. We may change subscription features, plan names, limits, avatars, topics, trials, prices, billing options, and access rules over time. We will try to avoid materially reducing paid access during an active paid subscription period unless necessary for legal, technical, safety, business, app store, or product reasons.

Deleting your Learny account deletes user-related data according to our Account & Data Deletion Policy and Privacy Policy. However, deleting your Learny account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. You must separately cancel the subscription through the applicable app store to stop future billing. Apple and Google may retain transaction records according to their own policies.

If your payment method fails, expires, is declined, or becomes unavailable, your subscription may be paused, cancelled, or downgraded according to Apple App Store or Google Play rules. Learny is not responsible for payment method failures, app store billing errors, or payment provider decisions outside our control.

Paid access depends on technical availability and app store infrastructure. Learny may be affected by server downtime, app updates, app store issues, payment provider issues, AI provider issues, device compatibility problems, bugs, third-party service outages, regional restrictions, legal requirements, or compliance requirements. We do not guarantee that paid features will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
